GOLF facilities
Our floodlit golf range is open throughout the day and evening, so you have the opportunity to improve your game at what ever time suits you. Our resident PGA professional is available to give expert tuition at all levels - from absolute beginners to would be 'pros'. Ladies golf-and-coffee sessions are a popular option on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Juniors are specially catered for on Saturday mornings, and eight-week evening classes for beginners are a regular feature throughout the year. A putting green and bunker are situated alongside our outside bar area and our mini pitch and putt course gives you even more opportunity to improve your chipping and putting. Take time to browse through our superbly equipped Golf Shop where you will find a comprehensive range of equipment and clothing. The friendly expert advice offered by our resident PGA Professional, together with our policy of keen pricing ensures that you will get the right equipment at the right price. We also offer a club repair service, including our 'While-U-Wait' re-gripping service. Why not combine a session on either the driving range or the pitch and putt course with a good meal in our dining room or Lounge Bar? We can put together a package to suit your exact needs.

MULTI-SPORTS activities
Now you can play your favourite sports all year round and at any time of the day to suit your particular lifestyle. Our fully flood lit, astro-turf surface is available for six-a-side soccer, tennis, hockey, netball or astro-cricket. You don't need to buy a lot of expensive equipment, since everything you need is available for hire. Accounts and discounts are available for schools and local authorities on daytime block bookings. During the Spring and Summer months our archery targets are in constant use, with both novices and the more experienced seeking that elusive bullseye - after all this is Robin Hood country. After a vigorous game or training session, why not cool down in our licensed Pavillion Bar, where you can enjoy a leisurely game of pool or air hockey. Or come along to the Lounge bar and watch the latest sports action on our wide screen satellite television.

DINING out
Our dining Room and Lounge Bar offer menus to suit all occasions and tastes in comfortable surroundings. A special dinner with friends, a business lunch with colleagues, an informal meal at the bar, or why not bring the family for Sunday lunch? Whatever the occasion, you can choose from a succulent roast (served daily from the carvery), the Chefs specials, an a la carte menu or an appetising snack selected from our extensive bar menu. For a pre-meal drink, the relaxed atmosphere of the Lounge Bar is the ideal place to sample our wide range of beers, wines and spirits.

WEDDINGS celebrations
For that very special occasion you need a very special venue. Charnwood Golf and Leisure centre is the ideal location for a wedding reception. Whether you are planning a large reception or a smaller, more intimate event, we can offer a comprehensive package to relieve you of much of that pre-wedding planning, and to help make it a day to remember. We also cater for other special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, office parties and club outings, and many prominent associations enjoy our facilities for their annual dinners. We can cater for large groups of up to 200 people, but for a larger event you may wish to hire a marquee.
