When I arrived at Loughborough College I met my fellow students. They numbered over 40 and consisted of many nationalities - Czech, Spanish, French, Portugese.
Most of us had never visited the UK before and we were looking forward to exploring the English life style.
We soon discovered than there are many differences between our cultures. For instance, the cars drive on the left, my hair dryer's plug will not fit the socket, and the television is full of 'soaps' !
Despite these differences, I soon realise that England is a beautiful country with kind and helpful people.
