My evil psychology teacher described my beautiful hometown of Loughborough as being nothing but a University. While I tried to persuade him that there were some trees at the very least, he would have none of it. While I am a peaceful man, I am not at will to prevent you my brothers and sisters from egging his house. I don't know him well, but it is likely that he lives somewhere amongst the southern fairies. Peace out, Good Karma.

Hello again. I can't keep away from this site, because I still keep my memories of the now sadly departed General Hospital where 18 years ago, I came into this world. Alas now, I haven't visited the town for a good long while. As I read the entries in this guestbook, with a tear in my eye, I just wonder, how many of you are from the upstanding village of Barrow, or perhaps even the celebrated Sileby Road. Just a thought. Also I notice a lot of people who have shuffled off to Canada, which is at least mildly interesting, because as I flipped through my family annals, several branches seemed to mention Canada. Any Campbells, Wilkinsons, Dawneys, or Savage related people out there. I can't remember which side of the family it was on.

Hi! I lived in Loughborough from 1979 to 1989 and went to Mountfields school. I can honestly say that they were the best years of my life. Thank you so much for creating this website, it is quite nostalgic and a much cheaper trip home than a plane ticket from here (Australia). p.s i'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me.

Would love to hear from anyone who might remember me. I attended Limehurst girls school until 1945 when I left to work on outerwear at Godkins in Herbert Street. I married Dennis Wilson in 1951. Prior to emigrating to Canada in 1954, I worked at Sandare Gowns.

I lived in Loughborough from 90- 97. Great place, since I am now in America, and miss the good old days of Thorpe Acre Junior and Senior school, I decided to check if this great town has a website...I was very pleased to find this page, it is very well organized, and I can think of nothing I'd add to this. Well, I'll be sure to check back very so often, till then, goodbye from New York, USA
