To:Ian Jessiman,Editor,Loughborough Community Internet ProjectIan, this is really a fine site. I've looked it over for 20 minutesor so: well done. It must have taken a lot of work. The overall look,as well as the organization: it's an A+ in my book. The site has torepresent a model of how such community sites should be constructed. But constructed is not the word. It is artistically designed, and intelligently presented. This site has a fine personal touch. Makes me want to come and visit the old borough!

I lived in Loughborough 1941-46. My brother was a Detective Sergeant at Loughborough filling a post our father had held before ww2.A visit whilst on a trip to UK this time last year showed just how much Loughborough has changed during the intervening years. Our old home at 134 Herrick Road looks the same, as did the school I went to at Shelthorpe. I was very taken with what has been done with the old LNER Central Station. A nice town to occassionally come back to. Regards.

Have always been interested in knowing more about the city of Loughborough with which I share the name. My family came to the U.S.in 1683, and I don't know of anyone in my current line who has ever been there. Genealogy is a hobby of mine, but I have no records of where the first Loughborough came from - only where he arrived and thename of the ship.I will visit your web site and hope one day to actually get to visitLoughborough.

Any plans for a family history page for us millions of family historians surfing the web.My interest in Loughborough is based on two families:The DRURY family were part of Loughborough life for a relatively short period of time. Tom Drury came to Loughborough from Lincoln at the turn of the century. He married a local girl and had two children, but died in France in 1918.The WARREN family were a large Loughborough family and set up two coachbuilders businesses in the town.
